ROTHBURY, MI. The Rothbury Festival is a four-day jam band music festival in Rothbury, MI at the Double JJ Ranch. The Sweet Leaf Tea Slingers (Berk (KnuckleRumbler), Danny Witte, Alex Staudt, and Happy Mercado) rented a 35-foot Winnebago and drove across Michigan to camp out for 8 days, spreading some homemade goodness in a bottle to 50,000+ people, and watching, The Dead, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson and Family, Girl Talk, The Cool Kids, The Hold Steady, String Cheese Incident, Nas and Damien Marley. Think Tea-Peas, Hula Hoops, RV Dancing, big bouncing balloons, a sea of tents, moonlight serenades and the Dead. Sweet Rothbury Madness at it’s finest.
